If you need to contact a Virginia Notary that notarized for you in the past, try these steps:
1) Google the notary's name + the word "notary"
2) Try looking up the notary on www.notaryrotary.com or www.123notary.com . These sites will only list notaries who have signed up for an advertisement listing. The 123Notary site offers an option to search all notaries listed for a particular state.
3) If those methods fail, then your last recourse is to contact the Virginia Secretary of the Commonwealth Notary Division to request the contact information for that notary. Your request must be in writing and mailed to the Notary Division (they will not accept an e-mail request):
